Should I choose Powder Brows or a different technique?

We tend to favor powder brows most as they are suitable for all skin types and look amazing while lasting the longest. For some other techniques maybe chosen to meet their goals and styles while also keep their skin type compatibility in mind.

Can I get Powder brows if I'm pregnant?

No, you cannot receive powder brows or any form of tattoo while pregnant or nursing.

Can I get powder brows if I have previously tattooed them elsewhere?

It depends on the situation. In most cases we are able to tattoo powder brows as a cover up of old eyebrows but sometimes removal is needed first depending on what style you had before or if there were big mistakes made on the eyebrows that need to be corrected.

Can I have coffee, black tea, matcha tea, energy drinks, or natural refreshers, before my Powder Brow appointment?

NO! please be sure to check all beverages consumed for caffeine, even the smallest amounts, even ones listed as being natural, you must not consume ANY caffeine 24 hours prior to your appointment. If you do, you will bleed ink out during the tattoo as well as healing stages and your powder brows will require more than the standard 2 sessions to get the right look. its very important you do not drink caffeine or alcohol 24 hours prior!

Do I get numbing for Powder Brows?

Yes you absolutely do! We believe in numbing!

Who is a good candidate for Powder Brows?

EVERYONE!!! That part of what makes them so great and why we are so powder brow obsessed.

Will powder brows tattoo hurt?

Not at all! powder brows are the most mild of all! Pain is extremely minimal.

How often should I refresh my lash line tattoo?

An annual refresh is always great to keep your tattoo on point and from fading away. Of course, every person's body chemistry is different and some may wait up to 2 years before refreshing the tattoo.

How painful are liner tattoos?

They are actually extremely mild and easy to deal with. Most would rate the pain as a 3 max on a scale of 1-10.

What is healing like when it comes to eyeliner tattoos?

Its actually the easiest healing ever when it comes to cosmetic tattoos. You just can't wear cosmetics on your eyes for 7-10 days. The new tattooed liner will scab and flake off naturally, revealing a perfect lash enhancement.

What should I avoid on the day of my visit?

Be sure not to be wearing false eye lashes, makeup, or contact lenses on the day you come in for your lash line tattoo.

Can I receive teeth whitening if I'm pregnant?

No, unfortunately this service cannot be preformed on those who are pregnant or nursing.

Can I use a whitening toothpaste?

Absolutely! It will help results to last and maintain.

Will teeth whitening cause damage to my teeth?

When done respectfully this service will not damage the teeth. Your technician will guide you through a safe plan and routine to achieve your goals.

Will teeth whitening hurt?

Not at all, one of the great things about the teeth whitening treatment we offer at FCC is that is pain free.

How can I make my tooth gems last longer?

Having a tooth gem is similar to having braces. If you eat a lot of sticky candy or bite into hard bread etc. you will most likely pop your tooth gem off. Be mindful of your tooth gem and it will be long lasting.

How can I make sure I get the best bond between my tooth and the gem?

Come with freshly brushed, clean teeth. This allows your gem to adhere to your teeth seamlessly.

How do I remove a tooth gem?

You can remove a tooth gem by visiting your dentist, or simply wait until it falls off on its own. If there is a thing layer of glue left behind, normal brushing will brush away the bonding agent.

The process of having this treatment done takes about 3 hours. Prior to tattooing the lip color we must pre draw and create the shape that will work best for you and your lip goals. We must also consult about what to expect and choose the right color for what you are looking to achieve. Finally before the lip blushing begins, a 20 minute session of numbing. Does it hurt? The pain of having lip blush tattoo created is very mild. On a scale of 1-10 most clients would rate it as a 3. The pain you experience is controlled by numbing. Numbing is used both before the semi permanent service is preformed and during the procedure as well. Unlike the process of getting a traditional tattoo, lip blushing is done on the surface layers of the skin. Making cosmetic tattoo semi permanent and way less painful!

Pre-Care/Post-Care Guide

First Sessions 399$ - 799$ Basic Touch Up (four to six weeks after the initial session) 200$ Color Change Touch Up- 250$ Lip Neutralizing (six to eight weeks after the initial session) 250-300$ Refresh Sessions (Anything beyond 8 weeks after the initial) 300$ Deposits are a non refundable 250$ that will go towards the total cost on the day of your appointment. Pre-Care/Post-Care Guide

For basic lip blush heal time four to six weeks. Heal time for lip neutralizing is six to eight weeks. With both lip blushing permanent makeup procedures the skin will heal in 1 week but the color can take the full duration of four to eight weeks to fully develop.

What You Can Expect:

Semi-permanent lip blushing is a tattoo created for lips to give lips a natural lip color that won't wash off. On the first day immediately after having the lips tattooed you will experience some swelling. This is completely normal, and the swelling will subside in 24 hours. On the first day your lip blushing will appear very bright in color. This will fade about 50 percent lighter once the lips have healed. The color will heal soft and subtle. Lip blushing is meant to be a natural lip color for your lips. Lip Blushing is no meant to give you a lipstick look once healed. On day 2 after receiving lip blushing you will notice the color will appear a bit darker. This is because you are now forming a scab, you will also notice your swelling has subsided. On Day 3-4 your lips will become very dry and flakey. As the skin flakes away you will see the shade change and the color soften to a more subtle tone. Days 5-7 the lips will be a bit dry as the skin rebuilds itself. Basic lip blushing takes about four to six weeks to fully develop. After the first week of initial healing the lips will appear light in their tone, almost as if some f the color is missing. This is normal and the color will even out and develop into its final healed natural lip color at the four week mark. The fatty areas of the lip tissue tend to take longer to develop. You must wait until the lips are fully healed before it is safe to tattoo them again with continued sessions. All ink and pigment is Vegan friendly. All ink and pigment is non toxic. Cosmetic tattoo is a tattoo. It is semipermanent and natural looking.

We are tattoo artists, we are not doctors, we cannot prescribe you anti-viral medication. This is something that must be obtained by your doctor. This issue is extremely common, about 90% of the population suffers from them. They can be caught from something as simple as sharing a drink, even if the person you are sharing a drink with have no apparent blisters. Lip Blushing does not cause cold sores, however, the injury to the lip tissue from being tattooed can cause an outbreak if the virus already lives dormant in your body. An outbreak can damage your lip blushing results, so when in doubt, reach out to your MD and get an anti-viral before your appointment. If you know for sure you are not someone who gets cold sores you can skip this step and count yourself as lucky!

Allow lips to settle and dry a bit. Then apply a very thin layer of a&d ointment/ aquaphor/ coconut oil to the lips periodically. Lips will be sensitive on this day. Avoid food that is too hot/too cold or too spicy/ too citrus.
DAY 2: Continue to moisturize with a&d ointment/aquaphor/coconut oil periodically. Swelling will be minimal to none at this point
DAYS 3-4: Lips will become dry and flaky. DO NOT pick or exfoliate the lips. Allow the skin to shed on its own. Keep moisturized

Lip Neutralization is a form of Lip Blush Tattoo that uses the science of color to lighten, brighten, balance, and accentuate lips that have unwanted dark tones. More than the standard 2 sessions is typically required. No more than 6 sessions can be created - our goal is to give you natural, glowing, healthy results. The more sessions you do the more color is layered into the skin covering your natural lip color. Results will vary person to person base upon their natural starting point and end goals. Each session is done 6 to 8 weeks apart, as it will take that long for the color to fully develop in between sessions. This procedure is a journey but it is always worth it! Truly magic!

This process will require some patience. Each Session is created 6-8 weeks apart as it will take this long to see the benefits from the previous session tattooed. Once the color is fully developed at the 6-8 week mark you will see the benefits of the tattoo session and can layer more as needed. After the first week of healing you may use lipstick or gloss to hide the transitioning stages if you wish. Its a journey but it’s always worth the wait!

FAQ

Can I wear makeup after the procedure?

No makeup should be worn on the lips immediately after or for 7 days after the service.

Can you make my lips look bigger?

Yes, we can! In a subtle manner of course. Our goal is always to enhance your natural beauty and give you tattooing that looks real. Your shape is something we can definitely adjust, however when it comes to the shape we cannot tattoo outside of lip tissue. This does NOT age well, and can sometimes leave behind permanent damage to the surrounding skin. We know we are tattooing lips because lips have no pores. Mostly we see lips that have lost pigment or have deepened pigment around the outer edges of the lips, so once assessed we can properly shape the lips in a way that makes them look larger but in the most believable way! This is not a traditional tattoo, and the pigments used are designed to heal soft.

Do I choose my color?

Color choice is selected together, both artist and client. Bringing in photos of styles you like or even a favorite lipstick is great as we can get and idea of what you are aiming for. The color that is tattooed is not what your final result will be. With your trust, we can get you to your goals and help you decide what will be best for you when it comes to this treatment.

How long does lip blushing last?

This treatment lasts 2-4 years. It can be maintained with annual refresh sessions. Each year the tattoo shade will get lighter and lighter until your natural lip tissue is restored to its natural tissue. In some lip neutralizing cases the tattoo has lasted 2-7 years before entirely wearing out. Unlike traditional tattoos cosmetic tattooing is semipermanent.

Will I be in a lot of pain when receiving lip tattooing?

NO! The pain is very mild and controlled by numbing agents from start to finish. A lot of our clients fall asleep during the procedure, and say they feel almost no pain!

Will I need to wear lipstick ever again?

Lip blushing is designed to embrace your natural beauty. As our client, the goal is to enhance your daily life with time saving looks that feel real. The pigments we use are made to heal believable looking. Super opaque lipstick looks are not what we aim for. Fresh, healthy, glowing skin that looks effortless - not that you are wearing loads of makeup is what we try to achieve. Our pigment is designed to develop with a beautiful tinted look.

Booking Policy

Please commit to your appointment with us - we respect your time and ask the same in return

$250 deposit is required to hold your appointment - cancellation or rescheduling will require a new deposit

Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable between appointments and must give a 72 hour notice to change the date of appointment. One change of the appointment date can be made or deposit will be lost. All deposits are non refundable. All reschedules/cancellations will require new deposits to reserve your appointment.

All additional procedures done after the 8 week mark from your initial lip blush tattoos will be considered a refresh session, cost: 300$ Taking too much time off from your lip blushing journey causes tattoos to fade and become more work for the artist on the next session.

Late Arrival: Out of respect to our clients and artists, if you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your appointment we will need to reschedule you and you will lose your deposit

If you show up to an appointment with previously tattooed permanent makeup we have not consulted on and approved, we can refuse your service and you will lose your deposit

Additional touch ups may be required to achieve desired results. We given educated estimates based upon consultation. You may need more or less than this educated estimate to achieve your goals.

Touch up prices apply to regular clients that have already had their first procedures with an artist. Continued sessions tattoo prices are valid for 4-8 weeks after the last session only. Anything past 8 weeks will be considered a refresh session.

COVID- Sadly Covid is still a part of our daily life. If you need to cancel your lip blush due to either being in contact with someone who has Covid or if you are ill yourself, you must send us a photo of your doctor visit paperwork stating that you either have covid or had reason to be tested to be excused and transfer your deposit to the next available date.
