No matter what your skin type is, Ombre Brows are a suitable procedure for all. Ombre Brows are brows that start with lighter powder at the front of the brow and gradually get darker towards the tail of the brow creating a blended gradient makeup effect. Ombre Brows are essentially another style of powder brows. This is great for those who want to rock a more makeup style. If you are used to wearing brow makeup often, and possibly a more layered makeup routine, this style is great for you.
Hair strokes are created to add fullness, and shape to the brows or even create a brow out of a client who has little to no brow hair. This technique can be life changing for those suffering from hair loss due to illness or accident. These brows are very realistic looking and are made to look like actual brow hair.
These brows are a combination of two techniques. These brows are created by using powdered brows powder effect and hair stroke brows realistic hair texture appearance to create the ultimate brows. A client who lacks shape is a good candidate for this technique. This treatment can take your brows to the next level and give you the ultimate fluffy brow of your dreams.
The process of having this treatment done takes about 3 hours. Prior to tattooing the permanent makeup we must pre draw and create the shape that will work best for you and your brow goals. We must also consult about what to expect and choose the right color for what you are looking to achieve and what will be best on your skin tone. Finally before the brows are tattooed , a 20 minute treatment of numbing. We like to keep our clients comfortable and relaxed while enjoying this beauty treatment with us. The pain of having your brows tattooed is very mild. On a scale of 1-10 most clients would rate it as a 2. The pain you experience is controlled by numbing. Numbing is used both before the semi permanent service is preformed and during the procedure as well. Unlike the process of getting a traditional tattoo, brow tattooing is done on the surface layers of the skin. Making cosmetic tattoo semipermanent and way less painful!

Your brows will go through many phases.
WIth Powder Brows, Ombre brows, or Hair stroke Brows the procedure is very similar. First you will discuss with your artist your brow goals. Then you will choose the best color match for your powder brows or hair stroke brows. Keep in mind Powder Brows, and Ombre brows always look warmer on the day they are tattooed, and then very dark 24-72 hours later before completely developing 6-8 weeks later. After the color is chosen you will then go through a pre draw with your artist where your artist will make choices for your skin type that work, leaving a defined brow shape and create based upon what will be the most natural and flattering for your features. Next, after you have approved the pre draw natural, defined, shape your artist will begin the first pass of tattooing. After the skin has been broken you will be numbed with a numbing cream designed to work on broken skin. This will keep you super comfortable during the procedure. After the treatment is completed you will then begin the healing journey. You may notice brows look a little swollen. Brows will look harsh at first before brows fade into their final state, 6-8 weeks later touch ups are preformed to perfect and adjust brows before sending them off into the world! Permanent makeup is such a great way to improve your daily life!
Microblading is a great way to achieve natural looking hair stroke like texture to your brows. If you like full, fluffy brows with a very natural healed result these brows are for you! Microblading is best done on dry to normal skin. This technique would not be suitable for those who have oily skin. If you have oily skin you can experience blurry appearing results from your Microblading, as well as fast fading and patchy results due to the oil in the skin pushing the pigment out while healing and over time in general.
The difference between Powder Brows and Microblading is the style and way the pigment is implanted during the tattoo process. Powder Brows use a soft shading technique that stays on the surface layers of the skin. Brows last longest with any powder brow technique. Microblading is used to create hair strokes. This is done by using a mini blade to create the hair texture look with a handheld tool and pigment of choice. Another option is machine tattooed hairstroke brows. this is also a form of semi permanent make up. This method is created by using a cosmetic tattoo machine made for tattooing permanent makeup on facial skin. this technique is controlled and gentle and able to achieve realistic looking brow texture while staying on the surface layers of the skin. This method is a safer route to achieving your desired look of hair strokes if you are someone with oily skin. Powder brows are the best brow technique for all universal skin.
This process will require some patience. Each Session is created 6-8 weeks apart as it will take this long to see the benefits from the previous session tattooed. On the first day immediately after having the lips tattooed you will experience some swelling. This is completely normal, and the swelling will subside in 24 hours. On the first day your lip blushing will appear very bright in color. This will fade about 50 percent lighter once the lips have healed. The color will heal soft and subtle. Lip blushing is meant to be a natural lip color for your lips. Lip Blushing is no meant to give you a lipstick look once healed. On day 2 after receiving lip blushing you will notice the color will appear a bit darker. This is because you are now forming a scab, you will also notice your swelling has subsided. On Day 3-4 your lips will become very dry and flakey. As the skin flakes away you will see the shade change and the color soften to a more subtle tone. Days 5-7 the lips will be a bit dry as the skin rebuilds itself. After week one the skin will be healed but you will still need to go through the color development phases. This will take a full 6-8 weeks to develop. During these phases your lips can look darker than the starting point, like nothing happened at all, or patchy and uneven color all the way up until the 6-8 week mark. This is normal and nothing to panic about. This is simply your body responding to being tattooed. Once the color is fully developed at the 6-8 week mark you will see the benefits of the tattoo session and can layer more as needed. After the first week of healing you may use lipstick or gloss to hide the transitioning stages if you wish. Its a journey but it’s always worth the wait!
• Please take a break from vitamin c serums, retinoids, and glycolic treatments, around the mouth area at least 2 weeks before your session and 2 weeks after for best healed lip blushing results.
• Do not drink alcohol or take blood thinning medication 24 hrs before appointment
• No Caffeine 24 hrs before your lip blushing tattoo, this will cause you to bleed and brush during the process.
• Please wait 1 month after lip blush to receive fillers. (or 1 month prior)
• If you suffer from cold sores (even just once ever in your whole life) you must take an anti-viral medication (like Valtrex) 2-3 days before, and 3-5 days after having your lips tattooed as directed by your doctor. We are tattoo artists, we are not doctors, we cannot prescribe you anti-viral medication. This is something that must be obtained by your doctor. This issue is extremely common, about 90% of the population suffers from them. They can be caught from something as simple as sharing a drink, even if the person you are sharing a drink with have no apparent blisters. Lip Blushing does not cause cold sores, however, the injury to the lip tissue from being tattooed can cause an outbreak if the virus already lives dormant in your body. An outbreak can damage your lip blushing results, so when in doubt, reach out to your MD and get an anti-viral before your appointment. If you know for sure you are not someone who gets cold sores you can skip this step and count yourself as lucky!
• Please wait 1 year after using Acutane to receive lip blushing
• Botox should be done 2 weeks before the tattoo appointment or 2 weeks after lips are completely healed from lip blushing tattoos.
• Exfoliate & moisturize lips 24 hours before your appointment -this preps lips to be tattooed. Healthy skin = beautiful healed results
• Laser Treatments must be done 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after Lip Blush Tattoo
• Do not smoke weed before your permanent makeup appointment. This will cause unnecessary sensitivity and possibly paranoia.
• DAY 1: Your body will produce lymphatic fluid (a yellow-ish clear fluid), this is what your body produces when it Is healing to form a scab, use sterile water wipes given to you after the lip blushing process to remove this fluid 1-2 hours after procedure. Allow lips to settle and dry a bit. Then apply a very thin layer of a&d ointment/ aquaphor/ coconut oil to the lips periodically. Lips will be sensitive on this day. Avoid food that is too hot/too cold or too spicy/ too citrus.
• DAY 2: Continue to moisturize with a&d ointment/aquaphor/coconut oil periodically. Swelling will be minimal to none at this point
• DAYS 3-4: Lips will become dry and flaky. DO NOT pick or exfoliate the lips. Allow the skin to shed on its own. Keep moisturized
• DAYS 5-7: old skin will begin to flake off and soft tone will be revealed. Keep moisturized.
• No pools or saunas during the healing process
